Liquid crystal on silicon - Liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS or LCoS) is a "micro-projection" or "micro-display" technology typically applied in projection televisions. It is a reflective technology similar to DLP projectors, however it uses liquid crystals instead of individual mirrors.
