Joaquin Nin-Culmell - Joaquin Maria Nin-Culmell Cuban-Spanish Composer (born in Berlin, Germany September 5, 1908 - died in Berkeley, California, on January 14, 2004), was the brother of writer Anais Nin, and an internationally known concert pianist, composer and emeritus professor of music at the University of California, Berkeley.

This, the first of currently four volumes of unexpurgated diaries, concentrates on her passionate involvement with Henry Miller and his wife June Mansfield.

Under a Glass Bell - Under a Glass Bell, originally published in 1944, was the first book by Anais Nin to gain attention from the literary establishment. It was published by Anais Nin's own printing press, which she named Gemor Press (a word play on the name of her employee and lover Gonzalo Moré).
